But first of all, what do we mean by Emerging Technologies?  George Veletsianos (2009) defines them as “tools, concepts, innovations, and advancements utilized in diverse educational settings to serve varied education-related purposes … evolving organisms that experience hype cycles … potentially disruptive, not yet fully understood, and not yet fully researched.”
